A a proud Townshipper, former journalist, entrepreneur and lecturer at the Université de Sherbrooke, Marianne Dandurand has devoted herself to the tourism industry in the Eastern Townships for more than fifteen years. Through her work, she has developed deep ties to the region and her community, showcasing local businesses and contributing to the area’s growth.

Since 2021, Marianne has gained a wealth of experience at the highest levels of federal politics, notably by managing the ministerial teams of Marie-Claude Bibeau and Élisabeth Brière. This experience gave her a good understanding of how the federal government works and enabled her to build up a network of contacts across Canada.

Marianne Dandurand is a dedicated Liberal determined to represent the interests of Compton–Stanstead with conviction. With her knowledge of regional issues, she is ready to take on significant challenges, particularly in the face of the Trump administration’s protectionist and expansionist threats. She is committed to protecting local businesses and promoting sustainable development in the region.
